1. What is Web Paint?
Web Paint is a lite browser extension that lets you draw on any website.
Please first navigate to a website, then press on the toolbar button to activate the addon. Currently, there are two modes available, Drawing Mode and Brushing Mode. Brushing mode is for drawing with mouse or pen (touch-enabled devices) on the page. You can choose a pencil, circle, or spray brush to draw. There is also an option to change the color and width of the brushing tool from the UI.
The next mode is for drawing shapes and called Drawing Mode. There are five different primitive shapes and one fill color are available to choose from the UI. Once you click on a shape, it will be added to the screen on the top left corner. You can drag and drop, resize, or rotate it anywhere on the screen. To delete a shape, please change the mode to drawing and then click on the desired shape, then press on the Delete button on your keyboard. You can also select a shape and then click on the - Remove - button from the UI controls (bottom left corner).
If you want to hide controls from the page, please press on the controls button at the top left corner of the screen (second button from top). To show controls please press on this button again. To print the page with your drawings on it, please press on the print button at the top left corner of the screen. Once you are done with the drawing, please close the interface by pressing on the close button at the top left corner or pressing on the toolbar button once. Please note that closing the addon will erase all your drawings from the page. So make sure to close the page only if you are done with the drawing tools.

2. How can I work with Web Paint addon?
To work with Web Paint add-on, simply browse to a website that you want to draw. Then, click on the toolbar button once. As mentioned above, you can either choose drawing or brushing mode. In brushing mode, use a mouse or pen to draw on the page. For drawing mode, please use primitives and place or resize them anywhere on the page.
Please print or take a screenshot of your drawings before closing the addon interface, because all drawings will be erased when you close the interface. To close and open the UI, please press on the toolbar button once or click on the close button at the top left corner of the screen. This addon has the option to open the UI in a new tab, toolbar popup, or stand-alone window. Please note that, when you open the addon in these contexts, you can only draw on a blank screen (not a webpage).

3. How does the page edit addon work?
This addon works based on an open-source JavaScript project called fabric.js. Please read more info about this project at this GitHub repo (https://github.com/fabricjs/fabric.js).

4. Can I add more drawing functions to the controls interface?
No, unfortunately, currently there is no option to add more functions to the addon. In the future support for more drawing functions will be added.

5. Is there any options or setting page available for this addon?
No, all the settings and options are placed in addon UI. Please note that all the changes are auto-saved to the memory by default.

6. Can I open Web Paint interface in toolbar popup or a standalone window?
Yes, as mentioned above, you can open the UI in 4 different contexts. Please right-click on the toolbar button and choose the desired context. Available contexts are new tab, toolbar popup, stand-alone window, or webpage. For the first three contexts, you cannot edit any website, and only a blank white screen is available for drawing. For the last context, the interface will be available on a webpage (active tab) for drawing.

7. How can I revert the page to the original state?
If you want to discard all your drawings, please reload the page once. Please note that all the changes made by this addon are temporarily and will be erased as soon as you reload the page (active tab). Alternatively, you can press on the close button at the top left corner of the screen.
